MENUMENU
Erion has built strong relationships with its stakeholders, enabling efficient operations and the maintenance of high-quality standards. Erion has established an ongoing dialogue with them to discuss existing technologies, opportunities for improvement and new industry needs. By collaborating with stakeholders, Erion can also actively participate in legislative developments, ensuring that it stays up to date and that its decisions reflect the specific needs of the waste chains in which it operates. This approach allows Erion to respond quickly and effectively to emerging challenges.
The stakeholder categories with which Erion works are outlined below.
At Erion, innovation is achieved through research, training and communication, with the ongoing support of the Strategic Development & Innovation team. Thanks to 2024 funding from the Collective Schemes, Erion has carried out studies on preparing for reuse, the fire risk profiles of lithium batteries and the evolution of Extended Producer Responsibility schemes thirty years after their introduction, among others. EU-funded projects are at the heart of the research activities: working with European partnerships provides a unique opportunity to discuss circular economy strategies, regulatory scenarios and innovative technological solutions at EU level. European projects offer Erion the opportunity to acquire advanced skills that can be shared with its partners and associates, improving business models and industrial processes to meet the sustainability challenges throughout the circular economy chain.
The following diagram shows the funded projects that Erion is involved, organized according to the different phases of the product life cycle.
